This vintage coin bank was made by G.B. Fenstermaker in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is designed to resemble a miniature blanket chest. It features classic Pennsylvania Dutch motifs, including hearts and tulips, and is made of cast metal—possibly aluminum. This piece is a great find for collectors of folk art, vintage banks, or Lancaster County memorabilia. The bank includes its original screw on the bottom, which holds the two halves together securely. It measures approximately 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 2 3/8" (L x W x H).
