Vintage Spanish Gold Damascene Pin Brooch. Damascene is a metalworking technique that involves inlaying gold or silver into grooves on a base metal like steel, bronze, or iron. This piece showcases the Star of David with floral and geometric motifs. Purchased in an estate sale, no maker's mark that I can find. Good condition with very slight marks on the back only.The pin in this piece is rare. There is a small hollow pin that you pull out and insert the needle into.
